Native Mexican families love to organize parties on the final night of the year. People are invited and served traditional foods. Mexican pan dulce is an integral part of the menu served to the guests. Pendant or coin is hidden in the pan dulce, the person who gets the pendant is considered to be the luckiest person in the New Year. New Year’s Greetings for friends are also exchanged.

Burning the negative vibes

Traditional games also form a part of the New Year day party celebrations in the country. In one such game people are asked to write good and bad events of the current in their life. The task is completed before the middle of the night. As the clock strikes 12 in the night people are asked to through the paper in fire. This is done to burn all the negative vibes and start the new year with renewed vigor.

Happy New Year 2015

Beautiful Christmas Cakes

This yuletide was a virtual treat. What with beautiful Christmas cakes all over the place! The greatest hits were perhaps the ones advertised by Marks & Spencers in U.K. among others. The classic fruit cake done in white icing topped with pure white sugar Christmas tree toppers was the ultimate.

Another very popular cake decoration this season has been to jazz up the cake such that it resembles a wreath. Dark chocolate or pure white sugar icing makes a very good base; and you can use dark green icing to creatively make a wreath topper for your cake. Add a red ribbon and the cake is ready.

Christmas cakes with edible silver stars, bells and baubles are common. Cakes with Santa Claus toppers are very popular. Edible snowmen and reindeer are popular winter cake toppers.

You can even organize fruit cup cakes with fun cake toppers! The X Mas theme serves well and works well for New Year parties as well.So what are you waiting for, Bake a fruit cake and decorate it creatively for your New Year Eve bash.
